Fast Shutter Speed
I believe my best picture is the one of me jumping up with an umbrella.
1. My shutter speed was
2. The ISO was 1/640 of a second, while the White Balance was around 200.
3. I was not on a point and shoot camera.
4. I froze the action of me jumping up with an umbrella in my hand. My shirt and hair are both moving upwards with the jump, froze in the jump.
5. The point of view was frontal. The camera was about three to four feet away from me.
6.The dark contrast of my shoes and pants help me stand out from the rather gray background and strengthen the fact I am not on the ground.
Slow Shutter Speed
I believe my best picture is the third one of me running with the scarf.
1. My shutter speed was 1/40 of a second.
2.The ISO was 100 while the White Balance was around 200.
3. I was not on a point and shoot camera.
4. I blurred the action of me running with a scarf down an archway outside of school. The scarf was behind my back, so it was being blown by the wind I created from running. My hair and shirt both flowing give a sense of motion in the picture.
5. The point of view was fro the side but also somewhat frontal. The camera was about five feet away from me.
6. I again believe that the dark contrast of my shoes and pants help me stand out from the gray blur of motion.

Painting with Light
Describing the first photo
1. The shutter speed was 25 seconds (for all photos)
2. This first photo involved two light sources. One was a slow, green, blinking strobe light (as seen in the background), and the other was a multi-color string of Christmas lights.
3. The strobe light was just blinking in the background, while the Christmas lights were swung in a circle, and brought closer and further from the camera.
4. I feel like the viewer would look feel like they are looking down a tunnel due to the spinning lights.

Reflection
1. I believe the picture of the cowboy in a shallow depth of field is better. It gives a sense of like you're i the middle of the battle.
2. You would want to use a shallow depth of field to focus in on something interesting or highlight the focal point of a picture.
3. A large depth of field would be good to capture a large subject, such as a group picture or a large building.

Reflection
1. I chose to photograph the copy I have of American Horror Story: Freakshow.
2. This is my favorite thing because I love the show, American Horror Story. At first I thought it was a weird show, then I started watching it. Every season is different from the last, yet it all connects somehow. The plot lines are very shocking and different.
3. I photographed from up above, at an ant's level, and somewhat eye level with the object.
4. It was a rainy day when I photographed so I went into the brightest room in my house. To avoid distracting backgrounds, I set down a white blanket.
5. I considered depth and composition by setting up the DVDs and cards in different ways that lead the viewer's eye through the work.
