Line and Shape
Reflection
1. I took the tiles and sunflower photo in my backyard. The chain link fence photo was taken in Fall River.
2. In the tiles photo and the chain link photo I was relatively close to the subject. For the sunflower, I was close, but not as close as the first two.
3. The point of view for the tiles photo and sunflower were straight on. The chain link fence photo was taken from a side angle, looking down the fence.
4. The tile photo was taken horizontally while the sunflower and chain link photo were taken vertically.
5. I considered the rule of thirds in the sunflower photo. I made the sunflower the focus of the photo, yet I made sure the sunflower wasn't the only thing in the photo; making sure the trees and sky were in the background. For the chain link photo, I wanted to make sure the end of the fence was at the end of the photo so the viewer's eye would follow through the image. I did not consider the rule of thirds for the tiles picture because i just wanted good lines.
6. The tile photo leads the viewer's eye through the photo as explained above.

Pattern and Texture
Best Picture
I believe my best photo is the shot of the school column.
1. I was relatively far away from the column because it is almost at the tallest point of the school and I was standing on the ground.
2. My point of view was looking up to the column.
3. The photo is horizontal.
4. I believe this photo mostly follows the rule of thirds because the column itself is in the bottom third of the photo, it is not right in the middle.
5. This photo is an example of pattern and texture. It shows pattern by the repeating straight lines and it shows texture by the different depths of the structure above the column.
Exposure
1. I think the close up shot of the plant is too overexposed because the photo is mostly bright while the steam is the darker part. I think the background is a little too light.
2. I think the image of the brick wall is underexposed because the bricks are very dark while the grout is white, with not much of a middle ground. I believe the bricks themselves are the darkest part.
3. I believe the best exposed photo is either number 6 or 3 because there are not certain parts that are too dark and don't fit in and at the same time there are not parts that are too washed out and ruin the photo. Each photo has different values that compliment each other to add value to the picture.
