Reflection - Black and White Photo of the Trees
1. I took my photograph around mid-afternoon at Blue Hills in Boston.
2. The light I photographed was as the sun was lowering, on the beginning of the path to the top of the mountain.
3. This photo has a good range of color from black to gray to white. This photo also has a good sense of depth because the path is flat, while the land next to it is higher up. The photo also has depth because of the trees that lead the viewer's eye throughout the photo.
4. Yes, shadows accompany the light due to the sun setting behind the trees, casting shadows onto the path.
5. I think the feeling that accompanies the photo is mysterious due to the shadows and the unknown destination the path leads you to.
